Ah, DEATHRACE 2000 features *David* Carradine (of KUNG FU fame), not John.

I believe that the most recent "graduate" of Corman's schlock mill (but what
wonderful schlock!) is Joe Dante, who, after directing ALLIGATOR for Corman,
went on to do THE HOWLING and the "It's a *Good* Life!" section of TWILIGHT ZONE
--- THE MOVIE. His most recent movie is the Spielberg-produced GREMLINS.
	Corman's New World studios is also responsible for that latest of mid-
night movie cult films, ROCK 'N' ROLL HIGH SCHOOL, which featured a very well
done giant mouse costume created by Rob Bottin (effects man for THE HOWLING and
THE THING). Bottin also did the monster costumes for HUMANOIDS FROM THE DEEP,
which I believe is another New World film.
	Whatever one says about Corman, one has to admit that he has fostered
some great talent.
