Just saw this one last weekend, and I'd rank the three I've seen so far as *Rear Window*, *Rope*, and *Vertigo*. *Vertigo* was a real disappointment for me: I'd been hearing for years how great it was, but the second half just didn't seem to work, and the ending was silly. *Rear Window* was great, good characters, nice suspense, neat set -- something I'll definitely go see again some day. *Rope* also had a nice feel to it. Looking forward to the other two. Wombat ihnp4!uiucdcs!ccvaxa!wombat
