Speilberg was quoted as saying if he had children around the age of 10, he would not allow them to see parts of this film, particularly about 20 minutes in the middle. Some scenes mentioned as particularly gruesome involve child slavery, lava pits and other fun things. It would seem that if more than a few parents catch wind of this, there are going to be a great number of youngsters that wont see IJ&TOD, which may take a small chunk out of Paramount's expected profits.. A member of the ratings board thought PG was too light, yet an R was too severe as a rating........I would hate to see such a potentially great movie spoiled by gratuitous violence...Any comments?
