I gave 1 point for title, 1 point for author, and 1/2 consolation point for knowing SOMETHING about the song without knowing either title or author. I was not picky about spelling or precision -- I gave credit for the author even if only the author's group was specified. So far, spaf is in 1st place with 7 points, Rosen in second with 6.5, clark with 4, and glenn with 3. The most identified references were "seven virgins and a mule" and "tell me what you come here for, boy". Both were identified (in both author and title by 3 out of 4 people). The latter was guessed at by even the fourth person. If another couple of days pass without further responses, the answers and final standings will be posted.
