Could we bury this ( net.music.*.* discussion ) for awhile until some statistics can be compiled on how much different traffic there is in it ? I personally wouldn't mind net.music.folk ( net.wobegon in general ) but the 1.0E-03% of the population who listens to 60's folk doesn't justify another newsgroup. Perhaps an earlier suggestion ( justification along the lines of the way the Federal Cookie Company divided up the FM band -- lower 1/5th aesthestic, upper 4/5ths commercial ) is how we should divide up net.music for the time being. NO FLAMES FOR CALLING net.music NONAESTHETIC- I think most people are mature enough to recognise that the FM Band is in fact divided up across some pretty well defined line.
