Bands with "offensive" (to some) and/or "tough" sounding names like SEX PISTOLS, DEAD KENNEDYS, RAMONES, etc. are classed as punk. Bands with "tech" names like DEVO and TALKING HEADS bring to mind wavpop. But who really cares how we categorize music anyway.
