I thought it was creative and a little gutsy and I enjoyed the album as a whole. I don't think that I am alone in my opinion because I am almost sure it was voted Best Album of 1984 by Rolling Stone Magazine. I also don't think Dancing in the Dark is all that bad. I am not jumping up and down with excitement over it but I'm still looking forward to the release of the album. I don't ever think it's fair to judge an album by one song. The assumption that the song released as a single is always the best one on the album is totally off base. I think alot of artists have one or two songs on an album aimed at the pop radio audience, and I see nothing wrong with that. I am still not convinced that Springsteen is losing it! Does anybody else share my sentiments? Let's not be so hard on him till we have the album. Carole Brooks ihuxl!brooks
