[sdchema!djo] This is a consequence of having a subgroup. When a subject comes up that is of general interest (like technical music topics such as the discussion on absolute pitch), the topic belongs in the parent group, except that we know that many readers/supporters of net.music.classical do not read net.music proper (precisely the reason why the group was created----so they wouldn't have to read through net.music). So how do we make use of their potential expertise on the topic, unless we submit to net.music.classical as well? [This is NOT an "I told you so".] -- "You are not SAM. You are not ISAM!!!"
