Lines: 9 For those of you who are interested in one of the more significant composers of 20th century America, the Pittsburgh Symphony (under Andre Previn) is presenting an all-Copeland concert at Carnegie Hall in NYC on Thurs. 24 May 84. Personally, I think Copeland is one of the less appreciated composers of this time period, and would put his "Appalaician Spring" on my list of classical music for newcomers (there is a very nice recording on Telarc).
