   Well, it has finally happened; our front office has  noticed
   a  VERY LARGE  phone  bill asscociated with USENET - on  the
   order of $25,000 per year.  So we are shutting  down  USENET
   here  at  Affinitec until such time as we can justify such a
   cost and/or bring it back in a cheaper form.

   Let me just say that I had no idea of the cost else I  would
   have been concerned myself, and before this date!

   So on Monday, 5/21/84, site "afinitc" will  not  handle  any
   more  USENET  traffic!  (Mail will still be allowed through,
   at least for now.)
