I propose setting up a new news-group,
net.economics. The purpose of this group
would be to set up a forum for economists
and economic students on the net.

This forum could be used to find
out if there are other economists
on the net, how other economists use
unix, a means for finding out where data
is availlable, and many other possible
uses.
