I forgot the (lengthy) `Coca-cola thought experiment', and various articles therefrom discussing addictions. So I don't feel that net.psych is `yet another low-volume newsgroup' -- psychology is one of many popular issues for which a stable forum is desirable; indeed, look at the popularity of `Psychology Today', radio shrinks and sex therapists, and the debate over psychiatric testimony in the courts! net.psych would appeal not only to pop psychology issues, but perhaps be a place where people can learn stuff about how the mind (oops, sorry, Dr Skinner) works, and what motivates behavior. Thank you for your attention.
