What kind of idiocy is calling "shit" the longest one syllable word in the
English language?
There are thousands of one syllable, five letter words, and thousands of
one syllable four letter words which can be made into five letter words by
adding an 's'.
This topic is something which is hard to look up and therefore is an
appropriate subject for this news group.
Anyone got a longer one syllable word than "straight"?
