Kittens are typically weaned at around 6 weeks. For show purposes (just one indicator), kittens younger than 4 months are not even allowed in a show hall (health reasons, both for kittens and other cats there). From 4-8 months cats are showable as kittens; beyond 8 months they are adult cats. Proper age for neutering/spaying varies but is typically in the 6-8 month range. Maturity of the cat is the important factor, and some cats just mature faster than others. -- ...Relax...don't worry...have a homebrew. Dick Dunn {hao, ucbvax, allegra}!nbires!rcd (303) 444-5710 x3086
