I recently saw an ad for an "electronic pet collar" that, in conjunction
with a special pet door, allows only your animals into the house or garage.
The idea is that the collar activates a latch to allow your pet through
while the neighborhood animals, both domestic & wild, cannot enter and eat
your pet's food and cause other problems.

Has anyone seen this system in use?  Does it really work?  Any comments?
