In other words, people in other countries will have to fight oppression without any outside help, and if the oppressors are stronger -- no, that possibility will be ignored or dismissed. Never mind that oppression may be -- what is the word, metastable? -- so that it takes a critical level of opposition before a tyrant can be overthrown; a critical level that just might be reached with outside help.
