There used to be a group conducting terror attacks in Italy which wanted
to combine the Alta Adige, Tyrol, and Bavaria into one country.  The group
was fanatically right-wing and monarchist and was reputed to receive
Soviet Funding.  I believe their English name was the South-Tyrolian
Liberation Front.
