I decided that it would be more of a pain in the neck to be constantly taking them off to look in the camera and putting them back on again than it is to not be able to see the entire viewfinder all at once. I think that the only time I'd really like to use them is when doing still life and such where the camera is on a tripod and once you get it pointed in about the right direction there is little need to look outside the finder.
