As a bit of background info - 3x4 foot murals of his still had the clarity and detail of an 11x14 inch print. But to get back on track, this photographer told me that other than having very close temperature tolerances during development, he felt that the mirrors in today's SLR's caused enough vibration at shutter speeds less than 1/250 to cause blurriness. He uses a Leica rangefinder. Does anyone have any other ideas about getting really, and I mean really, sharp negatives (35mm)? Or any other discussion?
