Lines: 18 I have found that SO's really like to get things in the mail, particularly if they are far away. My latest packages have contained ginger notes. Those are gingerbread cookies cut not into gingerpersons but into squares. After placing them on the cookie sheet, I use a toothpick to draw hearts, write cute things like hug and kiss, and draw other pictures. Use your imagination but keep it simple. The impressions have to be somewhat deep. Bake. Let cool. Wrap in plastic wrap or bag. Place in box and mail. A pound of cookies only costs about $2.50 parcel post (maybe slightly more depending on distance traveled. That's about 500 miles), and since you made them yourself, your SO thinks they're very nice (and yummy). They stay fairly fresh during their 2-3 day trip to wherever they are going. Some of us like to get flowers for no particular reason. But they should be hand delivered. I've also received drawings. I can't draw, so I don't do that.
