Oh boy are you in love! My MOTAS is 140 miles away (156 miles if you take the Interstate), has been since I moved to the Chicago area last August, with no solution on the horizon. Just the road. I envy you, Chuq. About the violins, though: They don't swell so much when you're touching the one you're loving as they do from the warm weather and high humidity. The top will actually become more convex as it swells, often enough to completely dislodge your soundpost. Better check it, Chuq.
