There are all sorts of discoveries of cities and events mentioned in the Old Testament. There are all sorts of discoveries that are mentioned in Greek Myths, American Indian myths, Mesoamerican writings, etc., etc. None of them support any ideas about the existence of anybody's god(s). They do support the idea that everybody's sacred teachings are based on everyday experiences - history, mythology, philosophy, and garbage. You can read anything you want into the stones and bones, but none of it's scientific reality. Of course, if I could have convinced some fellow archaeologists that their evolutionary fairy tales made no more sense, I might still be a starving archaeologist. Mike Samuels houxz!samuels
