I have had a couple of romances die when a distance that wasn't there
before became a reality. It creates a new stress that both sides need to
work very hard to overcome. Neither relationship was strong enough to
survive (neither would have regardless in retrospect) but I do know of
cases where it HAS worked.

Met is a relative term, especially when you consider the realities of this
network. I have many friends out on the net that I spend a lot of time
talking to and very much enjoy their company. Most of them I have never
met, many of them I never will (much the pity at that). This one just seems
to have gotten a bit out of hand. What's worse, we are both enjoying every
minute of it (if it was a one sided infatuation it would be real easy to
take care of...)

I am also the kind of person who would do almost anything for the sake of a
relationship that has potential. Except move to Texas. Even Chuqui's have
their limits. :->
