As a woman on the net I can guarantee that I am not looking for someone in computers to support me. The fact that this was ever implied is an insult to every woman on the net. Let's face it: There are people of either sex in computer fields who can only be described as "null devices". There are also people of either sex that are computer "gurus". People must be evaluated on an individual basis and not according to someone's stereotype. In searching for a MOTOS, I think the only advantage of dating someone in computers is that there is a lot of common ground for discussion. On the other hand, if that's all you have to talk about, I might question the relationship. Of the people I date, I probably go out with computer people 2/3 of the time and non-computer people the other 1/3. I've put my two cents in and now I'm going back to my operating system.
