Could I be wrong? it seems to me that you are pretty well convinced intellectually that this is the way for you even though you are not compltely convinced emotionally. I don't think you will find any soulmates here who will try to reinforce your emotional convinction, but rather people who will go on debating with you on an intellectual level. It seems to me that it would probably be more worth your while to discuss all this with other people who have been in the same situation as you. Preferably with both people who did and did not choose celibacy and also both people who are happy and unhappy with their choice. I don't really have any good suggestions as to how to meet such people, but I think you probably will be disapointed if you expect to find them in net.singles. I am not trying to kick you out of net.singles (on the contrary, this is at least 10 times more interesting that the discussion on differential car insurance rates for men and women) just pointing out that you might not get very satisfying feedback here.
