And The Run For One is done. The Edmonton Oilers have done it, at last. And they did it in a way hockey fans are not likely to forget for a long time. Starting the series as underdogs, the Oilers completely outplayed the "invincible" Islanders in all the areas of the game. With scores like 7-2,5-2 the Oilers made the Islanders look like a minor league team. And when,finally the "unbeatable" Billy Smith, the key player in the Islanders team, was recalled to the bench in the second period of the fifth game, the humiliation was total and complete. And so, a great era has ended and perhaps, another one has just begun.
