Message-ID: <695@CS-Arthur> Date: Tue, 15-May-84 06:25:19 EDT Article-I.D.: CS-Arthu.695 Posted: Tue May 15 06:25:19 1984 Date-Received: Thu, 17-May-84 03:07:12 EDT Organization: Department of Computer Science, Purdue University Lines: 28 y About the NBA mvp awards - anyone - when they come out - who does the voting - who is likely to get it I suppose the answer to the last question is either Larry Bird or Bernard King. I hope Bird gets it. He scored nearly as many points, as King did, and had more rebounds and assists. But I *think* King will get it. Poor Bird will probably be second . . Damn Nets. Nuke my poor Sixers and then get beaten by, of all people, Milwaukee, who will be thrashed by Boston. Since I have so boldly predicted that, I suppose Murph's law takes effect. Ah well, wait til' next year! Philly has 3 first round picks. We'll probably get Perkins or Barkley. Not as good as Olajuwan or Jordan, perhaps, but good. Houston doesn't deserve Olajuwan since they have Sampson. Interesting to see O. play forward with S., though . . In any case, Houston gets Olajuwan *or* Jordan. If they finish last next year, someone should trash the team. Andrew Royappa {ucbvax,decvax,ihnp4,pur-ee}!purdue!avr
