Last weekend, I saw a tv ad for STIII which showed a scene of the new Klingon
ship (I don't want to call it the bird of prey, dammit, that's the old Romulan
ship!!) firing its phasers. This is followed by a shot of the *Enterprise*
tumbling through space with what looked like the entire front half of the saucer
section missing, so if it doesn't get destroyed, it'll at least get banged up
pretty good.
	I suspect that this is a method of getting a new design for the old gal
so soon (she was redesigned not too long ago, so she wouldn't be up for a new
redesign so soon). For those of you who would like to see a photo of the new
starship class, the latest issue of FANTASTIC FILMS has a nice double-page
spread showing the *Enterprise* docking at a huge space station, with the
*Excelsior* sitting nearby. It's really a sharp looking ship.
