xx <- two-footed bug stomp!

Well, I didn't see the show on 5/16, but MTV has been showing *long*
commercials for ST3, which shows *lots* of what I would call
spoiler (teasers?) scenes. There is a scene where the crew sneaks
on board the Enterprise dressed in civies, followed by a scene
with the Enterprise pulling out of dock and the voice-over is saying
"Someone is stealing the Enterprise!" They also show a scene with
the Enterprise doing battle with the Klingon bird-of-prey; they show
Chekov, with an obviously shocked look on his face, saying, "Shields
on not operational, Captain", and the Klingon commander (played
by Christopher Lloyd -- it's obvious even with the make-up!) then
says "Fire!"; the next scene is of the Enterprise with the front
half of the "disc" blown off! All of this, without any spoiler
warning on the commercial! Talk about violating netiquette! :-)
