Sikking, who plays the gung-ho Lt. Howard Hunter on Hill Street Blues. And so, "for fun and enjoyment," Sikking recently did a comedic cameo as Captain Styles in "Star Trek III: The Search for Spock," a Paramount movie scheduled for June release. Styles is the martinet at the helm of a sleek new starship, the U.S.S. Excecior, rival to the famous Enterprise. Sikking, who moonlights in serious dramatic roles in two up- coming TV-movies, "The Jessie Owens Story" (for syndication) and "First Steps" (CBS), took on "Star Trek" for "a little comic relief." Besides, he says, "I always like to do parts where I can wear a uniform."
