Re: Leonard Nimoy and the gesture Spock makes with "Live long and prosper,"

I saw a TV show where Nimoy explains this gesture (see other articles
for origin given).  He said that the actress playing T'Pau never was
able to do the gesture and they finally did a close shot with another
woman's hand, reaching up from below camera, next to T'Pau's face.

Anyway that's what Nimoy said.  I plan to check it out next time they
re-run that episode ("Amok Time").
