I am planning a short trip to NYC in June for a Friday and Saturday
night stay with my husband.  We would like to find a rather inexpensive
hotel (or one with weekend rates) for our stay.  We would like to
stay in the city proper and be able to walk or take buses to shop
and sightsee.

Any help would be appreciated.
