It could happen either through loading the wrong tape on the player or through improper programming of the playback sequencing equipment. By the way, virtually all movies broadcast over commercial networks and cable networks are already on tape (for the commercial networks, usually 1 inch type C these days, for cable usually C, but sometimes 3/4 inch U-MATIC). --Lauren--
