   Morbius, Time Lord president, goes mad an attempts to rule universe,

During the Doctor's life:
   Time Lords almost destroyed by Omega, Doctor saves them.
   Time Lords find escaped morbius, send Doctor to deal with him.
   The master attempts to overthrow Time Lord society, kills president.
   Vardans & Sontarans attempt to overthrow Time Lords.  Barely stopped
   by new President The Doctor.
   Time lords decide to interfere in Dalek history.
   Omega returns and Time Lords order the Doctor's Death to stop him.

Other time lords of note are the Abbot/Cho-gi (?) who was the Doctor's
mentor as a lad, and assisted him in regeneration #3.
Drax, who skipped out of Time Lord society to work for pay.
Of course, The Master, Romana and Bourusa!
