A quick call to RCA Consumer Products in Indianapolis told me all I needed to do was send them a check for $18 ($15 for the manual, $3 for handling). A week later, and I had the manual in hand. I also have a unit such as that discribed (a Matsushita, bare-bones type). I have borrowed the service manual for it several times from a friend, so I know it is available, and I assume easy to obtain. (It has a nice discription of VHS recording format in an introduction.) Hope this helps, and is interest to > 1 person. Ted Estes AT&T Teletype Corp. ...!ihnp4!tty3b!estes
