Lines: 20 I recently bought a car burglar alarm which has a key operated switch and which goes off whenever there is a disturbance in the electrical circuitry of the car. This means that it goes off when the courtesy lights are switched. So far, so good. But now i've become shy of cutting a hole in my nice shiny body work for the arm/disarm switch, and anyway, the lock provided with the alarm is silver and my door locks are black chrome (I want the switch close to the drivers door lock - too much of a pain to mount it elsewhere.) So, does anybody know where i can get hold of a small remotely controlled switch so that i could point my ultrasonic or infra red "key" at the side of my car and arm or disarm my alarm system? Actually, a magnetic key would also work, or failing that a nice neat black chrome key operated switch..... Please mail replies to me - if there's sufficient interest i'll post a summary.
