We need the following features: Unix (4.n BSD preferred, V7 or SIII OK) csh vi nroff uucp Fortran compiler C compiler minimum 10 Mb disk large address space (i.e. able to use all available memory, not just 64k Instruction/64k Data) The following features are desirable: multi-user Ethernet interface graphics screen widespread parts/repairs availability A nearly ideal system is an IBM-PC with Venix, *except* there is no Fortran compiler available. Some systems that might be suitable, but I have insufficient information for: - IBM-PC with 68000 card - who makes 68000 card/software? - Wicat S150 - Callan Unistar - Small Codata system - Apple Lisa with Xenix or Unisoft port Replies to: decvax!ucbvax!menlo70!sanders TIA, -- Rex
