Some people, it would appear, want the best of both worlds: equal insurance
payments ("statistical evidence that women live longer than men?  phooey!),
lower premiums ("statistical evidence that women have fewer accidents than
men?  of course!").  

The word for that, I believe, is "hypocrisy".
