Does anyone know of attempts to do this? I am trying to put mathematical equations on the screen in a pretty format; using troff or TeX seems to be the way to go, rather than start from scratch. I am also trying to produce typeset equations from a symbolic math package, specifically reduce, to drive troff or TeX. The ultimate goal would be to see them on the screen. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Joe Ramey ...convex!smu!joe
