I would prefer an optical mouse (I think) as I did not like the mouse on the MAC. I have zero references to mouse people although I have heard there is a place called something like the Mouse House somewhere on the west coast. I want to connect this thing to our unix system to prototype the design for some graphics software for a yet-to-be-approved project and am thus somewhat bound by the $500 limit. I would like to find something that has fairly high resolution, say usable with a 1Kx1K display. I would also appreciate any references to literature that specifically deal with the use of mice in (obviously) interactive systems. Please send me mail and I put something back on the net. Your help greatly appreciated ..., -- Chris Boylan {mgnetp | ihnp4 | uwvax}!dicomed!boylan
