We just acquired C-ISAM from Relational Database Systems. C-ISAM actually uses B-trees (whew), and runs under AUX, since it was developed on Unix. It costs $400 for the entire Domain. The major problem with it is that it doesn't support variable length records, which are critical to our application. Is there a solution short of getting VAX/VMS and using RMS?
