For sale: a Hayes 300 baud Smartmodem, about 18 months old.  This is a full-
featured auto-dialing auto-answer/originate modem with 7 status LEDs and a
speaker to monitor the progress of a call.  It can touch-tone or pulse dial
and will even send the "*" and "#" tones for use with telephone banking
and similar systems.  My unit has never even given me a hint of trouble, which
is consistent with Hayes good reputation, even though it has been used daily.

New, it costs about $380 at Toronto discount computer stores.  List price is
quite a bit more.  I'm offering it for $250 or best offer.  A very good deal
if you can't quite afford a 1200 baud unit yet.
