I got one for dirt cheap at a flea market, and it's in working order. No manual, of course. I can dial out with it, and everything works. Except it times out on certain calls; reports NO CARRIER scant seconds before the remote answers. It's in Hayes-compat mode, so I tried ATS7=60 to set the timeout delay to 60 seconds; no go (it seems to ignore setting registers above about 5). Any guesses? Thanks muchly. P.S. the flea market is the Computer Clearance Centre, Yonge St below Finch. Great bargoons if you know what you're looking for.
