But I consider Asimov to be an absolutely first-class thinker about the future of AI and worth the price of admission. Speaking of that, when I accepted the invitation (at no fee) I was unaware that there was a price of admission to that symposium. I'm sure it just covers expenses for that non-profit foundation, but I might have thought twice if I'd known. In any case I've gotten good ideas from Asimov every time we've met; the simplicity of his language may obscure his depth.
