They have the same heads, transmission, etc so the only problem (besides wiring and locating the unit) that I can see is that, although they use the same block, the 530i has 200cc's more of displacement. Now the question.. Is this idea going to work?. The fuel injection has an air flow sensor to help it meter the fuel/cyl and I'm wondering if that can go ahead and compensate for the displacement difference at both the high and low end.
