I don't have any other factual information, but their name sounds
to close to Nikkor for it to be a coincidence.  I'll bet that if
you look hard enough, you will find that Zykkor is an American
importing enterprise that buys whatever it can get cheaply overseas,
puts their name on it, and charges what the traffic will bear.
