Gee, and all time I thought psychological impression was only found in lower animals! Personally, I "grew up" with Fortran & Basic, passed through PL/I & Pascal, and presently prefer to work in Lisp & C. Furthermore, this is at least the 6th system I've worked under (ok, so 4 of them were manufacturer ideosyncric micros from pre-CP/M and pre-MS-DOS days) and I like UNIX best. Especially compared with oh-so-wonderful VM (not VMS, but the IBM product). Besides, all of my ancestors survived because they used the best tools they had available, and I intend to uphold that find tradition. * definitely not neophobic, Bruce Giles {decvax,duke}!ucf-cs!giles giles.ucf-cs@Rand-Relay * and especially not heterophobic!
