Right, on, John! 300 baud is for losers who can't afford good equi- pment. However, I must admit it *is* difficult to get the phone to go at 9600 unless you pay extra for the conditioned line. The most you can expect from a home system is 1200 baud, but even that's 4 times the thoughput. I get so sick of these 300 baud weenies complaining about about a nothing problem that it makes me want to puke. Do they want the whole G*d*mn world to slow down so they can catch up, or what?
