Sometimes they do; there are a lot of people out there who enjoy flaming
rather rudely and offensively against people who make honest mistakes.
There's a rule in the "Emily Post of USENET" that reads "Don't
be rude or offensive."  Deliberately violating this rule to tell somebody
"learn some netiquette, you idiot!" rather voids the whole purpose of
net etiquette.
