{  Is this fit for drinking?  }

Driving along by the local "recreational area" yesterday, I happened
to bump into this sign that gave me pause for thought.  The sign was
located near a very wide brook that flows through the area and the
sign said:

   | NOTICE TO VISITORS  |
   | UNFIT FOR DRINKING  |
   | xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  |
   | xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx  |
   +---------------------+

Now, I didn't bother to read the stuff below (which I marked with little
xs) because I am quite fit for drinking.  I've been working out for weeks.
I just felt a little sorry for those visitors who are not fit for drinking.
